Good luck my friend! they can be a little tricky to get setup 100% keep the rates low to start with as Moving to Collective pitch from Co-Ax is a HUGE step

I have a HK500 Im building at the moment, but Im still playing with my blade SR

Well sorry to take so long for my answer haha still getting over the shock of just how quick these helicopters move.
I did get it to Hover however my gyro might have b een faulty as even after adjustment it just started spinning round and round.
It would hover nice then like whack gyro would lose it and away she would go.
I checked with HK and they said a batch of  faulty ones were made so I might have got one of them.
Anyway not too much damage but have sent to a mate who is really up with these and he will fix and replace all thats needed and guarantee a flying Helicopter when it comes back.

will let you know in part 2 haha.

No mate dont have a tail motor HK450 belt. Nope definately gyro fault mate but when it comes back will be advised as to the problem. Hovered beautifully then just snapped and then span round in complete circles good sign though a nice flat spin it was so Rotor head and balancing is set up as per how its supposed to be so will wait for his post mortem and fix up.
tks for comment.

LOL

Facepalm moment... thought you were on about the Honeybee!  That'll teach me to not just skim overthe last posts lol

Yep posibly a gyro issue or it could be the pitch of the tail blades not quite right

Okay  Essex2 finally made it. Here is my HK450 Kit now made up, and here is its Maiden Flight. Handled nice and smoothly and no tail jerking at all solid as a rock.

The Other Video is training landing gear that a young girl of believe it or not designed for her dad and myself.

Its fantastic and the pilot, which is not me is showing you on purpose how much damage it can take without damaging the Helicopter. Much better than the tennis ball setups around the place.

We have patented it and just showing you trainee pilots how effective it is as after all we do spend a lot of money on Helis dont we????

Armo :-))Great idea, sems to work as well. That video, very good, but if something had gone amiss then there would have been two knackered Helis!!
