HI EVERY ONE ,   I HAVE TAKEN OVER HANNAS ARK ROYAL SO IT WILL GET FINISH SHAME SHE NEVER GOT ROUND TO IT BUT I INTEND TO GET HER TO SAIL IT WHEN ITS FINISHED, THINK THAT WOULD BE OULY RIGHT  HAVE GOT IT TO THE PIONT OF FIRST WATER TEST TO GET BALLASED IN THE RIGHT PLACE AND CHEACK OUT MOTORS, WILL KEEP YOU ALL UPDATED AS I GO.

Hi Grahame.
                I had a 1/96 Ark some years ago, It had a steel plate in the bilges and a 12v 24ah battery sat on top of the plate which gave
                it the correct ballast.  It was powered by a single fan motor which seemed to be enough speed for it as like a supertanker
                when these big girls get going they take a bit of time to put the brakes on as their momentum drives them on a bit.

if anybody is interested she is sailing at 1345hrs on the 9th nov for her final tour , she is due back in portsmouth on the 3rd of december and will by flying the decommisioning flag , so that could be the last chance to see the old girl before she is sold/ scrapped !

thyanks guys am sending pics as i go to hanna to keep her upto date,  just hope i can do her justes , have sorted the ballast i think useing four dead 12v lead aced fitted in base of hull and useing 4 new to power her, i am running the formate that hanna was going to use to drive her three screws powered by 900 motors.
 
thought  near completing hull work still a very long way to go . the work list is long.
