Great pictures,
Fantastic display of ships,
good to know that the weather was the usual Scottish "all two seasons in one day"
Theres only two seasons in Scotland, Winter and August.

Hi Alan.
I`m sure your magnificent T45 would look absolutely stunning on this pond  :-)) :-))
I`ll try and organize the return of two of our big scale ships for next year, the Bismark and Hood , both in 1/72 scale and coming in at around 13ft long (could`nt get the transport ths year {:-{)
All these super size ships on the water would be really worth seeing :-)) :-))

Hi All,
Great show guys!
As a 'Paddler fan'. I have to admit there is a lot to be learnt from you guys. Although i don't like 'grey' boats I do like their lines ... don't tell pls.  :)

Two pictures that caught my eye and perhaps you can help with

First one .. what is this boat, looks interesting ...

Second one .... My thanks to you ... you make my 'bird's nest wiring look almost neat. Well done that man!

Great to see there is still a passion in model boating in this part of the world! ... Who knows, I might be back next year with a boat .... Ok, so it will probably be a Paddler in war guise ... but it's a start, right? ...
Well done all! Great show!

How about a Director class paddle tug

http://www.kingstonmouldings.com/pddirectorpaddle.htm

or a Racecourse class (paddle) minesweeper :-))

Thanks for the recommendations David, was hoping to meet you at the show but i had only a limited time there.
I was thinking more form my own range  -
Waverley / Juno etc .... cuts costs, and a little bit different.
I currently researching P.S Barry ... She has an interesting History.

Kim

Thank you for all the photos.
Just wish I could get there but it's to far to drive.   %%
Maybe next year.
Only one disappointment, No Armidale class patrol boats.  <:(

It is warspite from the 1920's refit
I think it was a fleetscale hull that was used :-))

I thought it was an excellant model of a period which gets past over normally it is the WW1 or 2 warspite you
see mostly

Aaargh ! Thats unfair Kim........I thought I'd deleted all copies of that spagetti shot .....Firstly the Torpedoe Boat Destroyer was Stevie's and believe it was 'Velox' National Warship Show Best in Show 2010.

As for the wiring in one of HMS Edinburgh's compartments, there's an explanation. She was on show on a table two weeks ago in horizontal rain and mists up in the Pennines and blew 7 fuses, (I emptied water from my shoes twice during the show), emergency repairs, the moving of the sound system, replacement of the Mixer system and ESC as well, left me a bit pushed for time for tidying her up..... {:-{  Not much difference from my usual wiring mind - qualified sparky) %%

Stevie who Bry?
I think it belonged to Patrick Moriarty of the Surface Warship Association.

I stand corrected Sandy......Just put my glasses on and enlarged the picture and it is indeed F234.....I had assumed she was USS McClusky as I glanced at the photo and saw the back end of HMCS Toronto to the right,  and when I had ran past her (Toronto), earlier in the day, it was USS McClusky stationed behind her...   {-) {-) <*< More improtantly...did you get an ice cream? I've seen about 6 shots of Big Bri munching/licking ice creams now -think he may have emptied the ice cream van  >:-o
