I had a very kind offer from Mike in Paisley who offered to fix my ESC unit and he also mentioned this name so i thought i'd find out where they were based.

IF anyone can fix that controller, Mike can. Get one of his controllers, they're better than the Robbe ones anyway!

Before you suggested giving the Robbe ESC the once over at St Albans I had already sent a message saying that you were capable of repairing the Robbe Rokraft ESC.
He didn't recognise your name as the sender of the dive-in newsletter.

I am guessing the ESC might be ok and its just the relay thats blown. Try hooking the batteries directly to the ESC (mind the polarities) and see if it works.
