Well, Alma the barge had her first outing this morning, breazy but she worked fairly well regarding power until the steering went
The waves coupled with the wind caused one of the rudder lines to come away so I had steering on one side. Managed to get her to shore and Stan fished her out, he had a look and the suggested I replace with pushrods as the push pull wasn't upto it, also need to cut a hole at the back for access to the rudder. Need to ballast the front as even with batteries she is riding low at the back...but we live and learn...hopefully
