Vestdavit in Norway supplied the ones for the Armidales which are similar.
They have details on their web site of various types.

Thanks Brian,

Thought they looked familiar.
I work at Austal Ships and was on the Armidale Project from the start, also the Cape Class, which use Vestdavit equipment as well, a very good product. Talking to the Reps who come over to commission their gear, the Davits on the Armidales are their most used system in terms of number of launches/recoveries per week/month/year. Bearing in mind that they also supply equipment to many Navies, including the USN for the Nimitz Class Carriers!
The Armidale davits are rated to 4.5t, and the Capes 6.5t.

I can confirm that it is a VEST davit with a 6.5M RIB. I wonder if they managed to sell her and how much they got? Liz told me it was just a bit too big for Sawley Marina......
