Right plan ordered so i need some more info on these i've trawled all my resorces got a few pics off the net.

I plan on using the snort system but not 100% on that as i'm not sure if the dive planes will be effective enough.

There is some reference to the Welman craft in the Paul Kemp books on midget submarines, but reference on these boats is quite marginal. The plans are excellent, and with the photos off of web (which are as good as I've found in any of the books I have) you should have enough to model a decent rendition of the craft.

If you make the conning tower free flood, you will get away with a tiny ballast tank, as these craft had minimal freeboard.

Cheers i think i have all the web pictures now there's not many on there. I think i'll build the sub first then worry about what ballast system to use when i see what space i have to work with. Had already decided to free flood the tower but plans always seem to change.
