At least there is one good thing for any one straight running or just likes wading in to the lake like SteamboatPhil and Stavros (they won't get their dresses dirty this year), there is no mud to fight through this year!
We have just dug out approx 60-100 tons of mud from the lake

The really stinky kind that only gardeners would want to use as fertilizer!

Hopefully if everyone does a rain dance for the next month the lake will be filled to the brim, just don't forget to stop though, it would be nice to have a sunny Mayhem again (even if its only for one day out of the two!)

Ok, you have taken out 60-100 tonnes of muck, I assume this will make the lake deeper.

Is "our" camping part of the general camping in 2012?

I have been on the Wicksteed site trying to book for a caravan (and 'er indoors) and it is £20 per night per van.

You do not need to book or be with a club, just turn up and enjoy. I would recomend some sort of cover to keep the sun off you

and a seat for the boss other than that, see you there. As you enter the park you will have to pay for parking, not sure what the cost is this year, but it aint bank breaking.

Booked yesterday and the cost was £20 per night if you want to go early, thursday night is £15 and that is it ,there are no other costs involved unless you want to go on the rides, will have to be good this year her from the kitchen is attending , still won't have to do my own cooking.

Well i have tested out me new (new to us) caravan up in cold Norfolk this weekend. It all worked just fine so as soon as I get paid I will call Wicky park and book in.
Now then doses anyone have space for my 3 boats on there tables? 52" Arun (have own table )+ Fishing boat and fluffy punt 24" long. I can bring my small genorator so we can have some charging during the day, and to run a flood light for the eve BBQ . I don't fancy push starting all the cars on Sunday morning !!Can someone bring a tall stand to lash the light to?

Would it be a plan to maybe combine the two events at beale park and wicksteed park?
as beale has a very good size lake plenty of area for the traders as well as camping and other such facilities
the lake is devided by bouys and is less prone to windy conditions

It has been said that Beale needs a kick start and maybe this could be it to combine the forces of the clubs to keep it alive?
