Lachie's dilemma
« on: December 15, 2011, 09:04:23 pm »

My friend Lachie Stewart visited me recently to discuss his current dilemma, what to build next after completion of the Pharos.

He had the hull and plans for the car ferry Arran and for the Polestar.

I felt that there were quite a few Arrans about and that the Polestar would be a much more unique model, albeit much more complexl. However I maintained that the decision was his. ok2

Which project won? Watch this space or probably a new thread.

I would go for the black hull if only for it's width.  Stability in the water, and all that.   :}

He actually started the Exeter but it's now on the back burner.

You might think that but I couldn't possibly comment.
