A Trio of Sun Tugs
« on: January 18, 2012, 11:56:45 am »

Hi all I found these old pictures of three sun tugs that I built between 10 and 12 years ago, they were all scratch built plank on frame with 12volt electrics and built in 1/24th scale. i thought they may be of interest    Geo.  ok2 ok2

Hi Bro  I think that was the day that the T V people were there launching the 11foot model of the assault ship that they made for the T V series, if I remember correctly they did not like us buzzing it with our tugs ,  He He    {-) {-)

All three of those are now locked in a container in somebody's collection in deepest Kent.

What a pity - I've no objection to people who just like to collect - but out of sight and can't be appreciated :(( <:(

Beautiful models, Sun tugs were always my favourite firm and these three really evoke that period of time, my only gripe is I do not own the locked container.
