Hi Ray

We were talking about corrosion on another thread and Fleetwood is salt water
so maybe a wash down etc is called for? But maybe already knew that ......

Dave
Well i was told about the salt water and corrosion, but one of the Fleetwood guys put my mind at rest, he said it was an old wives tale, hmm id better give it a swill just in case theres nothing lost :-)

your boat looks great, and has plenty of pulling power, don't worry about big amp batteries you will get fed up before the battery does,
ER salt water is OK  yer right just make shore you wash the boat in fresh water and keep an eye on brass parts , I am not a fan myself because my boats tend to have all brass fittings  but if you take simple precautions you should be OK.

Peter

wait for the salt water is OK brigade  {-)

All i can say about salt water corrosion is that i brought a boat which had been used in salt water. The five bladed prop looked corroded. On closer examination it was possible t pull the blades out of  the centre hub. The soider had failed. John.
