   is there anybody out there that as built the billings kit of the african queen
   i need pictures if any body as any i would be very gratefull  or any info atn all

Hi Max, I have two Billings kits . The quality of their components is very good but the build instructions are non existant,I would say very poor. This is the main knock against Billings kits. If you are depending on the build instructions to guide you through the build process you will be in trouble from the start. Mick B.

   thanks to funtime frankie and irishcarguy for responce to my post about african queen ..the links i got are very helpful

  mick b.....i have no plans for the boat it was a static model when i purchased it ...i took a load of pics of the boat but lost pics
  due to me not knowing what to do with digi camara...but not to worry i will rebuild it

             thanks for vidios they look realy good on and of the water ......mine is going  be electric not steam with smoke unit
             i think it will look ok when done if it looks as good as yours i will be happy
