Shouldn't that be England, Richard? A friend of mine visited England a few years back, slept in one morning and missed summer completely :D

Have been watching some 20/20 cricket from N Z,
the crowd were wrapped up like Eskimo's in a cold spell.
Yet you make fun of our summer's ?  {-)
I know that North of the Trent you can have all four season's in one day,
it has been known to snow in June in Buxton.

the hot days this summer have been HOT but i'm in the minority who who dont like hot days.  theres been weeks of those horrible warm, humid ones though. roll on winter

Dicky, its just a matter of timing. You must have got your dates wrong, this year summer was Jan 28th to 31st Inclusive!

Its been a balmy last 24 hrs here in middle England (apparantly warmer than most of Europe), even had the air con on at work last evening  :o
