Purchasing problem...
« on: March 02, 2012, 01:48:51 PM »

Hi Chaps

I'm posting this on behalf of a friend who hasn't got a computer.
I hope I'm posting this in the correct section on the Forum, if not could you please advise me

Is there anyone out there who has bought a model  from moderated recently?
Or would know if they are still trading?
My friend has parted with a lot of money for one of these boats and I think you can guess what has happened.
You can PM me with any information I would be much appreciated.

Thanks
Nick

Trader's name removed...

Traders has asked for topic to be removed to give them a  chance to respond to the customer properly.

Nick, please email when you've been made a happy customer!  :-))

Kim,

Cut the moderators some slack, they are not on duty 24/7 and are volunteers. The problem was actioned when it was seen.

Unfortunately people do like to air their problems on Forums although it is never the most appropriate course of action to do so and doesn't actually help solve the problem if there actually is one.

It's just a cross Forum managers have to bear. The important thing is that action is taken when attention is drawn to these sort of posts. It is not Mayhem policy to act as a vehicle for complaints against suppliers which should properly be resolved directly between the parties concerned.

Your previous posts have been dealt with by 1 other Moderator and the site owner.
If you continue with your action of starting multiple threads on the same moderated subject you WILL be subjected to a yellow card which is followed by a ban.
You have been in contact with the site owner, at least have the good manners to resolve and act as agreed by yourself and the site owner.
I consider dealing in private and making new threads at least rude to the site owner.

On behalf of my friend, he would like to thank Clyde models for resolving this problem very quickly. Clyde models have gone out of there way to make sure the all the items have been received. My friend is very happy, and has said everything that he’s received is of a high standard. Well Done Clyde Models

Ok, at last a chance to respond ... lets put it down to meltdown....
The customer got what he expected .. when he expected ...
My only fault ... missing a calll after a visit to hospital with my God Mother that over run. and i don't consider 10pm a sociabe time to call anybody!
Customer satisfied, me slightly pevered & possible damage to my business regardless of what i was promised
- regardless lets put it to bed!

Kim,
I very much doubt that any damage has been done to your business, in fact quite the opposite.
Every company will have some problems during trading, it isn't the problem that people are looking for but the resolution.
I think that you will find that as the problem has been resolved to both parties satisfaction that this increases the possibility of more trade, not less.
You have shown that you do care about customer relations (although in an over zealous way) so you have confirmed to the readers that you are a reasonable company to deal with.

I do not understand why this entire thread was not deleted. it obviously broke the rules and to most of us it means absolutely nothing, so why not simply delete the whole thing and save us from wasting our time reading it?

It was rather a acrimonious complaint and I just wanted to show the traders had sorted it out to the customers satisfaction.  :-))

If your reply came a lot sooner i'd agree.... But it didn't!

As the thread has been allowed to stand ... I'm gratefull, as it shows that the customers expectation was met but his quarrel was just simply to hurt me. Despite being told it be taken off!
