Robbe U47
« on: April 05, 2007, 02:20:47 pm »

Hi Guys

Someone has given me a Robbe U47 to look at before he decides to sell.  Trouble is I can't see how to get the thing apart.  I assume there is a hidden screw somewhere that I can't see.  I'm quite happy flogging one meters around but I've never looked at a sub in anger before.

Can anyone help please?

Cheers

Ron

Under the bow is a screw type arrangement that will release the two sections and allow you to split the hull..

You need a long allen key to undo the cap head that is sat there, I can't remember the size but I know some people who write here who may be able to help.

If yoy go to the Robbe site you can download a set of the instructions for this model and you can see exactly what you are up against.

Thanks for the replies guys.  I've now got to the innards.  The next question is where can I get batteries for the boat?  Do I need to buy proper Robbe ones?

By the by do Robbe do spare parts?  One of the periscopes is missing.

Thanks

You may find the battery may cycle up if you put it on a good charger...
