  Hello ,
        got together with a couple of friends to build a sea queen ,  from a plan that given to me from american web pal.
       but to big for my little work shop so now building in the garden all bulkhead cut out and build jig made lots of big pieces makes a change from little fiddly bits
      some pics to look at as any body out there built this model ? nice to get some info all three will be scratch built  :-))  yes ikea blind will be used  {-)  LARRY...

         46 x 14.5 x 5.5 , ikea is cheaper than ply :-))  Larry.

is that the best thing ikea sell in eastville ? thnk i will stick to using the birch plywood my local model shop sell for my building work  !  why three boats at once , are you entering an endurance competition

how much do these blinds cost and how much boat built can you get out of one?

what happens if ikea change their stock and stop selling blinds?

Great to see more Sea Queens under construction, you can't have too may old Aerokits models around for my liking. Amazingly similar construction with them all, just different sizes! I look forward to see how you get on with yours.  :-))

we have a few sea queens at fleetwood the pictures my one its in dock having a new paint job ready for this year ive also refurbed a sea comanderthere both great boats to sail

Hi Larry

You listed them at 5.5mm thick. Do you find them flexible enough for our needs ?  The lengths look convenient enough for boaters. I might go down and have a look at them.

          2.5 mm or 1/8 OLD MONEY........did you enjoy shepton ?  not much going on sunday poor trade turn out .......LARRY...

Ah !!  that's more like it.  I like old money   %)

The show on Saturday was very good. It was well supported and very busy with people. Sorry to hear the traders deserted, but it never did have masses of traders.  The Warwick show in November is the one  NOT  to miss.

if yout talking 2.5 mm into inches then its 1/10

1/8 is 3.17mm
