I believe the  'Delete button'  stays visible for a short time, which would allow you to remove your post.  (correct me if I'm wrong because my delete button is always there)If is not available then replace your letter with just a  'full stop'  and we will know to remove the duplicate post.

No never seen a delete button but yes have been able to 'edit/correct spelling etc' posting within a 30 minute time frame.
Being a moderator is probably why you have a delete button.

Can I have one too %) %) %)

Off subject but important.

When you suffer some hearing loss it is generally in the high range that women use.
Verified to me by my female audiologist and explained to SWMBO that when i say I didn't hear you sweetheart she has to believe I am being truthful  %) %) %) %)

So Dave there is hope for us all, "sorry dear I am comming now, didn't hear you before" {-) {-) {-)

I too think the delete button is a moderators perk. I don't get one but I do note the full stop suggestion.

Anyone that wants a post corrected, modified, delete... just use [ Report to Moderator ] link at the bottom of every post  otherwise it can take ages to find it!   O0

But if it's your own post you want to delete, the software won't let you report it to a moderator....

"you cannot report your own post, it doesn't make sense!"

Good point.  Not to worry though, as duplicated posts are removed without request.   :}

I think the postimage utility built into the forum works very well. I also use photobucket, but the postimage is very handy when you just want to quickly upload an image, and I guarantee if you post images in 640x480 or thereabouts, someone will pipe up and ask if the images are available in higher resolution.

The problem with Photo Bucket and other Photo storage is that they Crash and pictures then disappear of the site, also people leave or give up the hobby and delete there account, there are also the people who get a strop on and delete there pictures, and that has been done by some  members a few times, it gives you pages of red Xs.

 I will keep clicking.

One of the few things Mayhem server is good at is storing photos for the forum!

.... That's terrible! Can some translate that into Queen's Ingerlish please!
