1/48 paddle wheels
« on: June 24, 2012, 08:24:07 pm »

Hi all,
Has Mike Mayhew at Waverley models stopped supplying paddle wheels for 1/48 scale Waverley?
If you try to get on his paddle wheel page it crashes the internet explorer page you are on whereas all the rest of his pages that I've tried still work.
I'm only asking because I'm getting close to needing a set for the Waverley I'm building and don't think I could make my own wheels.
Maybe someone has a set they would be willing to sell.
Stan.

Waverley Site is running OK.  I got through to the paddle wheel section with no problems.

You could always ring him as he's a nice chap really.  I bought mine from him many years ago when I built the Waverley.

Thanks guys for the assistance. My pc had avg toolbar installed which crashed internet explorer on certain pages. Its ok now.
The paddle wheels on ebay look interesting but I have got a set on the Glasgow that I recently completed and they look too big.
I believe I need 100mm diameter and they are about 140 with the rim and near 125 without it.
