titanic lifeboat no 14 conversion to fishing boat

hi all
well i bought a model of the Titanic no 14 life boat it measures 34in long and 10in wide and got it cheep of ebay.
and wondered what i could convet it to using radio and a motor with propshaft and propeller. and this is what i came up with. :}
please be kind lol.

started with this. {:-{



and ended up with this. not finished yet needs windows fitting and the wheel house decked out and some deck clutter. :-).plus weathering. every thing is scratch built except the clinker hull.








any ideas for deck clutter or weathering would be helpfull.

Hi there, nice job, she looks a bit like a seaside pleasure cruiser, the sort you see in harbors on the south coast. Why not fit seats, bunting and loads of passengers. You could even add a sound system with seagulls, motor sound etc....

never thought of that idea and its a good one
i live close to the river tyne in newcastle and have seen old ships life boats converted to lobster boats and private fishing boats
but like your idea of a seaside pleasure craft. will google it and see what ideas i can come up with.thanks

often thought of buying one of those ( the bigger version ) myself and converting to a small potter or crabber to go with my lifeboats.........

that's a great idea you've had, and a lovely boat produced......might have a bash at one.

thanks for the kind comments
i picked it up off ebay for a song then sat and looked at it for 2 weeks thinking what can i do with it.
then i remembered seeing some ships life boats on the river tyne in newcastle that had been converted to crab and private fishing boats.
so when i got home i started the conversion and ended up with what you see in the pictures.
no plan just  from my head with what i had in the junk box .
and she sails  very well . on 6v power.
