Good news everyone

The lake has been refilled, we had a bet to see how long would take to fill up, needless to say I lost the bet by two days but Nigel Marriott the lake manager was the closest! We put the bung in on Saturday afternoon and it was full by Wednesday afternoon!
Wicksteed Park are going to repair the damaged concrete edging in the next couple of weeks so the lake should look fantastic for the Mayhem weekend :-))

P.S save some of those sausages for me!

P.P.S the penguins are coming soon too! :}

I will be going, at least for one day.
Which ship I bring depends on how far I get with the semi-sub by then.

Have booked the camping, polished the straight running markers, got the tea urn out, and (and here is the best bit) we have got paint on Stephs new boat, just a little left to do before its main launch at Mayhem.....
Have even got a couple of radio boats ready......

Oh and ordered a couple of gallons of petrol for the jolly old steam boats.......
