OMRA RACING
« on: October 18, 2012, 08:29:42 pm »

AFTER A FANTASTIC RACING SEASON ( apart from the weather) OMRA draws its calendar to a close this week-end with the last double header at Penzance,it seems that we are in for some very close  positional finishes and that means spectators should get the full atmosphere of true  offshore model power boat racing .the season has had its fare share of weather disapointments but in the end it has turned out to be  a very good all round enjoyable experience for its members.having attended a few of the meetings I feel I may even take a bigger part in the activities in the coming 2013  program. may I convey my heart felt thanks to all the people concerned who have made my attendances  welcome..GOOD LUCK AND BOND VOYAGE FOR 2013

I have never seen a model offshore power boat race. What sort of conditions can they stand? How fast are they?
