software
« on: November 29, 2012, 05:27:07 pm »

Hi guys, can anyone point me in the right direction,I'm looking for software similar to CAD and easy to use,all I want to do is put an image of my reduced copy of the ship onto the computer, tell the computer the overall scale length and beam, then ask the software what the scale dimension is between any given two points,I saw a thread in Mayhem, the guy was using Brava, but cant find where it was located in the forum,Yes I did try the search facility,no luck.I made a boo boo after many hours of work,so I think this may prevent this from happening again.I tried Googling Bravo but my lack of knowledge on this subject leaves a lot to be desired,it was gobble de gook to me.Hope someone can help,Thanks

draftsight might do what you want, or freecad or inkscape, worth a look anyway
