Hi from Lincolnshire
« on: February 12, 2013, 12:44:15 pm »

Hi all,
I have just joined up with MBM forum, and thought I had best introduce myself!
I am a relitive novice at model boats, so some questions my seem a little silly  :embarrassed: I am confident with a good few aspects of wiring and Scratch building, owing to my Model rail business, which started out as a hobby and started earning me a living. so now i return to model boats and ships. I have had 4 R/C boats, a RNLI RIB of just 10 CM lenght. a couple of basic speed boats off ebay, and currently a Dickie tug (OK I know its not the most realistic model ever, but I could afford it back then and it is a nice little lass to pilot)
My main interests (outside of railways) are Tugs, WW1 and 2 battle ships, destroyers, crusers, dreadnaughts, Submarines and so on, Aircraft carriers less than. speed is not something that interests me much at all, power and controll are more my thing...

Any thing else you guys wanna know just ask  :-))

Hi Sean,
Welcome to the Mayhem!

( Mayhem sausages are great but not as good as those from you neck of the woods! )

The Dickie  / Seaport tugs are very popular on here for conversions, have you seen that section?
