Sea helper has arrived
« on: March 31, 2013, 09:18:52 pm »

Well i was loaned a set of plans for the sea helper to build, but it turned out it was just beyond my build.
So as we have a real good boat builder in the club at Goole , well we have loads actually, i handed him the plans and the challenge.
And three weeks later he produced me the most wonderfull model i have seen in a long time,so all i have to do now is finish it . All the details need to me done ,lights wheelhouse fittings etc . But i would like to buy some fittings like the ones i would have trouble making,
the problem is the model is a 1:15th scale, so who sells them .
The items would be twin bollards (one fore and two aft) towing post and the winch. Lighting shouldn't be a problem as i have some in stock, and i think i should be ok with the rest.
I have no pic's yet but plan to do a short video for the tube .
A big thank's to Pete for building it for me and a big sorry to Howard cos he wouldn't build two .

That's ok buddy i have made a copy of them  {-) .
and done a spare set for you too  :-)) .
Been in the workshop this eve fitting a tray for the servo, battery, on/off switch etc,
been through my entire collection of brass props and not one M5 3/4 bladed, but i have one on order now.
It's gonna take me weeks to get everything fitted , i have to do a propper job since Pete has done such a good job on the build.
I still think its a pitty he wouldnt build a second one .
See you pond side
