Hi mermod boats looking good what you were saying about the coats of release wax that was how i used to do very slow and i found in the corners i started to get build up of wax but now i have gone onto a spray on release agent i dont noif you can get it over there tho.

Just to mention to guys talking about laser machines and want a comparison Mine is a laserite machine who are based in basildone uk

Keep up the good work mermod i no the feeling off trying to make everything perfect .

nothing exciting yet, did the front escape hatch but that's about it, ordering the motors today, after talking to Nick75 I've decided on 2x 350kv turnigy motors...... oh and the props arrived but I cant seem to get down the workshop to take photos.

 a lifering with engraved name and 6 anodes (sanding the dome on the anodes was torture on the fingertips)

Just a quick check to see how much weight I have to play with, believe it or not there are 2x 12volt 7amp gel cells in there.

What the previous pics don't show is a pair of rare earth magnets mounted in the base of the mast that snap it into place but allow it to fold for transport or if it gets a knock from someone that's "just looking"
