Model Boat building in France

Hi, Im living in the South of France, near Carcassonne. Does anybody know of any local clubs or events in the area of France. I'm interested in all aspects of model boat building. I have just completed Robbe's U47 submarine.

A lovely part of the world Vian. I have friends at Lavalette, close by Carcasson and really
enjoy visiting there.

Vian,

I know it's about 1 hour north for you, but there's a large club in Toulouse.  I saw them a couple of times using the Basin where the Canal du Brienne (sp) meets the Canal du Midi at the west side of the city.  They had some very large warships on one occasion.

I wish I was still there :((

Toulouse it is far, it is a big city and there are lots of hassle to go. Too many cars
There are two clubs closer to Carcassonne and an excellent to VILLEVEYRAC.
A VILLEVEYRAC ago champions France in Europe and the world.
It's great to learn how to make beautiful models

I am fortunate to have participated in many show in the UK and I'm lucky to be friends with designers and manufacturers of models.
It is important for me to communicate with designers "elsewhere" to exchange.
This year I am very pleased to welcome our English expression "GAZOULAND"
We will have friends Belgians, Swiss, Portuguese and even several Britons of Brest region .......... {:-{

In 2014 I know we have a Brazilian.

We all come to communicate to a good attitude and a good glass ...........

Modellers Villeveyrac think the same thing and we are waiting . Modellers Villeveyrac think the same thing and we are waiting. They make beautiful models and they know how to drink and eat well. :-)) %)

I was wondering, we will be visiting northern France next month - am I OK using 27mHz radio or should I use the 2.4 radio gear ?
