Well the first Torquay Chase Boat event went off absolutely brilliant, good weather.  good humour all round, and of course very good racing with no one  hitting the Rescue Boat and no disqualifications all very good for HEALTH and SAFETY reasons, really looking forward to the next one in September, cheers and thanks to everyone for a perfect day  !!!!!!!" do you have any photos of the events your racing at shawtingling ? i know its hard to take them while your controlling your boat but im sure other members of this site would like to see what goes on ! jon ( ex bristol pegasus PG3 )

On omra's web site I could not see any name "shawtingling". So thats why I ask you to tells us how well you went, what boats and what positions you got in the classes you ran in. Please answer the questions I asked in the earlier post I made.

I'm thinking i could get interested probably in the D class boats as i don't like glow engines at all but the petrol jobs look good something i can run in the sea locally and some of the local ish  races.
 I won't be doing anything till this time next year as all funds are going on my wedding next June so just planning ahead .
Are there any rules concerning the paint scheme of the boats?

Hi Dave.we will be racing from Torquay harbour,its a chase boat event so only limited viewing I,m affraid.as for the paintwork on our boats ,its what takes your fancy really. there are rules and regs as in all sports and hobbies, so if you are interested in putting a boat together come along on Sunday 6th October and have a look and a chat we,are a friendly lot who always try to assist in new comers builds.its a great hobby so dont miss the opportunity to see some really quick fun entertainment,cheers for now hope to see you there.....DenW
