Old New be
« on: May 26, 2013, 02:08:35 pm »

Hi All
 G
ary’s my name I’m 53 retired and . .

Well back in to model boats after some 30 odd years and found this site. . .

So for give all the usual dumb questions as I try to update my computer ( aka my Brain ) into the new terms of new stuff

Any way I think I have the best of both worlds here in Leicester as I will soon be joining the King Lears club as it has both I.C and electric

Well to start off with I have an MFA Spearfish running an 850 MFA Torpedo 12v 7ah video to come this afternoon as I'm off to test it

and just about to start on a Scratch built Vosper Perkasa . . .only because I have a 44” x 12” Glass fibre hull from e-bay and to fit in it a brand new SC 40 Marine . .  droooool

So first question is ( as no IC instruction manual ) what size Prop for this 40 (6.5cc) motor oh yea I have a 4BA shaft

so what prop as well ( left or right handed Looking at the Back of boat blimey trying to think which way an I.C engine runs . .  errr Help)

Regards Gary

Welcome aboard :)

Not wanting to rain on your parade, but have you checked that IC boats are allowed on your chosen lake?

Hi gazza.
Guess you went to look at nautical marine for your bofor.
Deans marine do it a bit cheaper http://www.deansmarine.co.uk/shop/product_info.php/cPath/5_17/products_id/284
