Hi there I'd like to say hello to all and just give you a quick idea of ho I've come to join you all here. I'm medically retired and took up RC as a hobby to get myself away from her indoors but up to recently have restricted myself to cars but somehow I cam to inherit a ready built Dusseldorf Fireboat , like to go n at deep end, which on examination looked like an electricians nightmare along with 3 sets of batteries that would only hold charge or a few hours at a time. Being headstrong I decided to completely refurbish all electrics and bring it back to its former glory - that was about 4 months ago and still not finished but I will persevere and hopefully see it on the water this summer.
