debonding Stabilit express type glue
« on: June 14, 2013, 08:56:57 pm »

Made a cock up.... glued the tech rack to the end cap and while I wandered off to deal with dinner one of the supports I used to hold it square moved and now the endcap is not square to the rack.
Any ideas on how to debond stabilit express? (actually its UHU Plus Acrylit but the are the same as far as I can tell)

After speaking with Mr Starloc (he who knows about all things sticky), there is nothing that will debond this type of glue that won't damage the surrounding plastic.
I managed to get the glue off by grinding and sanding
