When I removed some old masking tape there was some glue left  ,what to remove it with ,well I found some Betterware Sticky Stuff Remover it smells of oranges It just cleaned of the glue no bother and left no residue ,cleaned the windows and the wood .
 The product was donkeys years old ,is Betterware still about.

orders from them as they do some kitchen stuff that no one else does anymore,Ray.

They're still about.  My parents get a catalogue once a month or so.... quite often order bits from there that you can't get elsewhere and have them posted here

either that or the orange based cleaner for cleaning the thermal paste off of computer processor chips, that gets most sticky stuff off. (probably available at maplins)
