Battery on the 1/32 Maggie M is located just forward of the motor, just forward of the hulls ladder section, with motor in the middle and electronics aft. Of course someone else may offer another suggestion but I have seen it done this way and does afford a stable craft.

Hi Paul

I too am just starting off on a Maggie M and joined this site yesterday

I'm hoping to place the main battery under the forward hatch but not sure to go for 6 or 12 volt.  I may use some sort of ballast and bath test the hull to see how she sits before I buy.

My thoughts are to place the rudder servo right at the back on a very short linkage, the main electrics on a central board with longish leads so that it can be removed via the rear opening and somehow only use the central opening under the wheelhouse for emergencies as I'm also hoping to add full lighting and sound.......we'll have to wait and see how things pan out

All the best

Jon
