The motors for the casualty lifts are now fitted, also the paint work has come along brilliantly. The next job will be fitting out the flybridge.

Regards Dave.

Today I removed the railings from the superstructure and fill any blemishes left from the mould, tomorrow I will do some rubbing down before I start fitting out the flybridge.

Hi all, can anyone tell me what is best to use for the aerials on the Arun as they are quite long so I need something that has plenty of bend and not brittle.

 Regards Dave.

I used plastic tube which fitted into the brass tube uprights.  That way, they could be removed for transport.

Cheers

Thanks Ken, they sure look the part. Looking at them on the photo I would guess at the black section being 3 mm and the white at 2 mm, would that be about right.

Hi all, the hull is now finished as far as the spaying goes, the white strip you can see will be covered by the rubber bump strip once it's fitted. So now I have moved on to cutting out the windows .......there's only 17 so they should keep me busy for a while.

Today I got the rest of the windows roughly cut out along with the air intakes on the side, hopefully I can get them all tidied up and the do the bit of work required on the flybridge, once done I can get it ready for spraying.

Regards Dave.
