IT is great that you are on the mend. Before we know it you will be back to sailing. You might even start playing soccer LOL, Cheers from Mick in Canada.

Thanks Dave, I will find out in a week or two if I have to go back to the operation table...were going to try a thing or two first so I hope things work out without the need for another operation.

Regards Dave.

A quick update, I am now walking around on my new leg but it's quite painful due to the problem I have with the bone. I am hoping things may settle down in the next week or so....I hope....but on the good side I can walk about for a very short time.

Regards Dave.

Hi Dave sad to hear you had a set back, but keep your spirits up, we are all pulling for you. I would think all your Mates at the lake are looking forward to your return. Mick B.

Just a quick update, it has now been confirmed that I now need another operation on my leg, waiting now to see the surgeon so now this is going to set me back a few months......not to happy as things were coming on quite well but I am sure it will be ok in the end.

Due to the leg problem I am thinking I might have to sell my Arun due to it's size, now what sort of price should I put on her. :(( :((

Well the Arun has not been out now for about 2 years, I have decided that once my Maltby is finished I will dust off the Arun and see what if anything needs doing in order to get it back in the water next season, it went very well (very fast) last time it was out.

Once I got back from the lake yesterday I decided to get my Arun down and have a look, once the batteries were put in all worked just as it should. Not bad as it has not been run for over 2 years so it will be at the lake next time I'm out for a good run out.

Regards Dave.

Had it out again and it went as good as the last time it was out, the only problem is it's size when it comes to getting it out the house and back in again....... very hard with this false leg so I may have to think about putting it on offer for a swap. Will have to do some thinking. :((
