NYLON BUSHES IN PROP SHAFT TUBE

The nylon bush in the prop shaft tube at the Prop end is worn and shaft vibrates. The shaft is 4mm and the tube id is about 5mm, were can I get these, its a Hobyking St Tropaz 45

marks model bits, give him an email tell the size you want hell charge you beans for it.

Hi Rollerskate,

The St Tropez has a rather high revving propshaft, if Mark has any bronze bushings that'll fit, I'd go for those in stead of nylon.
Keep the stuffing tube filled with light grease and you should be good to go.

If you run the stock metal prop, take the time to balance it, as an unbalanced prop will reek havoc with your bearings, nylon or bronze...

Try SHG on there web site or they will be at the Blackpool show i get my shafts from them
