last check of camping gear. tent re water proofed, stoves and kettle. packed, gas to be rebottled. sleeping bags sorted never been this organised

After I have been out at our Fun day I will get all my boats sorted and batteries charged ready for the best event in the year Modelboat Mayham at Wicky park. I have booked the day of friday off from work so i should be up there Friday morn and once i have the caravan set up will be ready to help out setting up etc.

THE SUN IS ON ORDER . now it is down to the weather gods .

Beer is packed and a bottle of sloe gin .

The Peterborough Club are planning to attend the Mayhem weekend, once again. Would it be possible to reserve a place for our Club gazebo ? It doesn't take up much space !!

Look forward to seeing you all there and also looking forward to the pre-booked fantastic weather

No problems, Bill has already spoken to me about where Stevenage club would like to go and so far I can't see any problems yet. We are trying to use the whole of the lake side this year so we are not all piled in by the entrance.

Whoever is paying for the good weather ensure you keep doing whatever you are doing!

Hi Bill

Yes, we have requested 25-30 tables from the park, they will be the folding 4-5ft variety with some smaller ones mixed in. Basically the ones we have used in the past.

However, if you can bring a table to allow others to use another table we would be most grateful to anyone doing so.

The Scottish lads have requested six, and they have been reserved for them but once again if you've got room in your car/van the more tables the better!

Confirmed at the moment are Deans Marine and Models By Design but others have pitched up in the past including Component Shop, Speedline Models, Scale Flags, and Model Sounds.

The Peterborough Club will bring a couple of tables that will fit inside our gazebo. Therefore we will not require any of the tables that you have available for loan.

also only 2 of west wales model boats will be there ... me and karl . so please say hello to us so we dont feel left out .... he will be the one with a 6 ft bismark . and ill be the one with the big fishing boat . and making all the noise with pyrotechnics !

Have got glue to keep new toothies in Pete, ready to see if they are real boating gnashers (chatting, BBQ ing.....and checking out Bill's sloe gin)

Should be pleanty of space around the lake for, just aim for the space you had last year......

Stav, myself and a few others will be there from Thursday and setting up during the day Friday.....maybe with the help of Bill's sloe gin....

PS Nick I am the Blackheath Model Power Boat Club....but panic not you are not the first to think its Black Park....maybe I should join them and make life easier

I'll be bringing my gazebo and table. I'll be sailing my trawler 'Smokey Joe' and of course AFOR ( A for Alien) will be looking forward to making a first landing in Wicksteed. Can someone please hold Martins hand as he's frightened by the noise AFOR makes. As for Catherine ….. when she met AFOR at Coalville, she just smiled and said ga ga goo goo, to which AFOR replied …. xzyqztzz ….. it must mean something!
