newbe needs help with hull / plan

hi all please forgive me but I am new to this , I have just acquired a hull of what looks like a tug but has no plans and was wondering if someone could identify it or suggest a plan to suit

could be a tug or trawler but I don't recognise it as a particular boat/model. Hopefully someone will have more info.

the shape of the hull at the stern (the shield) is reminiscent of a tug

Try - http://www.modelboatmayhem.co.uk/ - then look at "your models, then scroll down to Laurent.  Drawings of a typical tug hull similar to yours with three different superstructure styles.  It would need re-scaling since the original was to 1:100 and was about 18" long.

just a guess but it could be a scratch build from plans from model boats mag called the flying kestrel .as one of our members modified the plans to build the sister ship flying wizard

Thank you all for your assistance the sun tug looks ideal for what I want to do although 4" shorter i'm sure I could adapt the super structure to fit and an even bigger thank you to admin for sorting out my photo as I still haven't got to grips with modern technology
