As far as I know, the Penzance Club has folded? I know Maurice who used to run it,has been seriously ill and passed his models on.
A while ago we were asked to use the pool,as the powers that be want to fill it in and turn the area into a car park.I usually go down there to test out my boats, knowing that should they happen to break down, they will come into the bank within a short time, because there are no islands or any overgrowth as it is a concrete pool.Good access too!
Mind If I ask why you were enquiring? I may be able to help?

When Martin posted this link to above club I could not and still cannot get beyond
the Homepage of this website?
There are no 'links' to click on my screen when homepage is up?
Does anyone have any idea what may be the reason for this?
I have also been unable to access one other website recently but have no other
problems accessing sites with my computer.
Access to the Penzance website is puzzling me, not that I'm ever going to go down there
to sail my boats!.
Hoping to solve this soon!

Thanks..

I have just accessed once again the link given and it opens up to the Homepage, and clicking on any of the links there, opens up further pages. No problem whatever?
The club is sadly all but defunct.I have just been talking to the person listed as running the club,Maurice,or should I say his son,and when he gave up there seemed to be no interest in it.
However, anyone who can use the pool please do,because if it is seen to be used, then the Council will not follow through with their idea of filling it in and making a car park
Many Thanks,
Mick F

Thanks Mick.
How very strange!
No links at all to click on the homepage I get.
Just the Anchor, Photo and welcome address.

I can't think what problem I might have with my computer?
Its several years old now, been upgraded many times and running Windows XP.

Since my last post I have accessed the Penzance website on my Grandson's
laptop and lo and behold everything works!
I have no idea why my m/c can't do this  - and doubtful I ever will!

How do I find out which version of IE I am running please?

Getting new computer soon anyway....
