My reincarnation; and what's this boat?
« on: January 20, 2014, 07:36:33 pm »

Hi everyone,
My previous user name CPM1 and associated details were no longer being recognised by the forum so I have been reincarnated as 'DEVA' which is the name of my model boat.

I'm working away from the UK long term at the moment and have stumbled across this patrol boat which is in a sorry state.
Before I post full details and further photos in the Working vessels R&D thread can someone tell me what it is.

P.S. Hello to club friends at Crewe :-)

according to my copy of conways it's a cp239 class italian coast guard patrol boat built by rodrizue of messina around 1971 is 25 tons 30 kts 16.8 x 5 x 1.7 meters with 2 isotta fraschini diesels. the notes say cp241 sank in summer of 1991 so must have been salvaged
