Just 4 weeks to go to our main event of 2014 on 13th July, 10 a.m. to 3.30 pm.  Hopefully the following traders will be in attendance: Model Boat Bits, Mountfleet Models, Deans Marine, Mobile Marine, Adrian's Figures, Scale Flags, Leeds Large Scale Models and Warner Marine.  The aerial photograph shows our sailing water at Wilton Park WF17 8JH.  Free parking within the park grounds, large playground for younger children.  We hope to have visiting clubs from the north of England.  Free sailing all day and hopefully club 500 events during the day and we hope to organise a sail by around 2 p.m.   There will be a competition for best tug model on display.  Large raffle and refreshments available.  If you are not a club member or member of any other club please feel free to come along and take part.  Unfortunately we cannot operate IC powered models or high performance fast electrics at Wilton Park.  During the day there should be models of all types on display. Something for everyone.  If entering the park by car and you wish to unload and erect a gazebo please keep left of the lakeside this must be before 11 a.m., hazard flashers must be switched on and keep speed down to 5 mph.  Could you come and make yourself known to the ladies in the tea tent and ask for Stan.  Any steam models could you please supply any paperwork that is required for your boiler.  If you need any further information either send me a pm via Mayhem or obtain my e-mail address from the club website.

HI Fellow Mayhem members I have just found a second picture of our sailing water looking from the Bradford end towards Dewsbury. The open day is just two weeks away and I still have lot of work to do before then. Enjoy the picture.

Knowing how you guys all love a rummage, I'm busy creating at least 2 trays of rummage, motors, radios and ESCs plus loads of "junk".  Just remember the early squirrel gets the best nuts.  PS nearly forgot, also on the stand for sale will be a Southampton tug, Proper radio, two ESCs, also a lindberg pt109 complete and running with radio. a Torben tug, built and running, with all the small fittings from the kit, and a very expensive Inchcape 41 motor yacht, beautiful, pictures on Mayhem sales list.  Hope to see lots of old friends, you can't get the quality abuse these days!!  Cheers  Jim W :-)) :-))

A big thanks to all that came along today. The weather could not have been better damp start the sunny and blue skies. I will later this week list the clubs and trade that made the day a success again. First picture taken this morning shows the back of my estate car
full to overflowing with raffle prizes and tables for other clubs. More pictures to follow this week.
