Just fitted new reciver motor and rudder servo into boat. When switched on the rudder works fine but when the motor is switched on the rudder twiches back and forth. anybody with any ideas what is causing it.

Yes. It's radio frequency interference (RFI). Fit suppressors to the motor. Use the Search facility on this website - the subject has been covered quite frequently.

ferite rings/slugs can cut it out..wrapping your wire round them..receiver cable should be placed away from any type of motor..as this will be picked up..could cause twitching...or loss of signal...i had this trouble once...some one had wrapped the receiver wire/cable round the electric motor on a model boat...

What kind of radio?  2.4GHz or conventional?
Is the radio aerial alongside the power wiring?
What kind of motor?  Brushed or brushless?

Changed the suppressors on the motor and re routed the reciever wire everything ok now. Thanks
