Good morning Ned..
just added two figures as welders.. that barely seen in photograph.. its just a demo and can hide the L E D s accordingly..
we have lots of circuits to make welding simulators, but my intention is to make it inexpensive as possible and from things around me.. so i just made this out of CD 4017 IC, along with NE 555 timer.. each L E D is driven by a BC 548 transistor as collector load.. as we have 10 outputs from CD 4017 used three here.. so it makes a fast running effect, that gives us fell of arc.. so an other three out puts are taken from gaped branch with diodes gives an instant rise in light.. and two of the outputs are fed to transistors via resistors, makes light dim, gives the feel of arc is taking out.. a second same circuit used to make gaps between weldings, that both speed of arc and gaps can be adjusted with potentio meters.. so we can keep it at desired levels.. total cost of this circuit is about 120/-Rs.. thank you..
