My DUKW

This is the second sea and land trials of my scratch built DUKW .
The video can be seen here --
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7GBAofUCoA4&feature=youtu.be
All went well on this trial , but on the first one , I had a couple of glitches . One of the nuts holding the front wheel on unscrewed as it was too tight against the wheel washers . Luckily it fell off as I was coming up the ramp. The second problem was not checking battery polarity when I connected it and I blew the 15amp fuse and damaged the ESC a little . I had a spare electronic speed control and set that up and used it yesterday . The land and water speed are ok . So I am pleased it's all going well so far ! The "engine " noise is actually a slightly longer blade on the prop contacting the hull . That I fixed today . I think my next project may be an amphibious van or something similar .

but you know that the sailors out there will be banging on about the rules of right of way, especially with yours being powered
