I have the RMAS badge on my study wall, along with some memorabilia from RMAS ships I sailed on.

I only have one, but it was given to me by a former CO of HMAS Bundaberg, an Armidale Class Patrol Boat, of which I built a 1/50 scale model. Sadly, Bundaberg was destroyed by fire in a Brisbane shipyard back in August, whilst in for repairs.

Further to my ships badge of HMS RAMILLIES, you may be interested to know that I am very proud indeed to be the co author of a book on the Mighty Battleship and its Crew?
If this is breaking any rules, please feel free Mr Mod, to delete it?

I have this one to go with my 1/96 model of the ship. Nice to see you have the badge of Superb, her sister ship.

Hi Bob.
The "S" class badges I have would be related to the swiftsure class subs built in the 70`

Ok.
here`s one with a bit of history on the back I think its what you call an Honour board.  Its a metal crest for the Danish frigate valdemar sejr  which was an ex Hunt class De. http://www.navalhistory.dk/english/theships/vw/valdemarsejr(1954).htm

Valdemar no relation to (Voldamort)  {-) was king of Denmark @1200`s and wot a lot of skullduggery there was.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valdemar_II_of_Denmark

Hi ned.
Can you guess who it is yet. Started to strip it with original nitromors for repainting, this is as far as it got as the new tin I opened to  continue the job had the formula messed about with.  get back to it some time.

Hi Frank,
Can't work out the nitromors ravaged crest.
Is it from a Mickey Mouse Minesweeper?
Those the Yanks supplied that didn't have enough power
to tow a sweep.  >>:-(
Have you tried Fairy Power Spray as a paint remover?
I and a lot of others on here including our Leader have
had excellent results with it.
Like the Enterprise crest  :-))
There were three ships in the Inshore Survey Squadron,
Based on Gillingham Pier on the Medway.
Echo, Egeria and Enterprise.
