My Freelance Fleet
« on: October 04, 2014, 06:39:00 pm »

Hello fellow modelers from British Columbia, Canada.

I have recently created a BLOG for uploading photos and videos of my FREELANCE fleet of model RC boats. I have posted photos on other websites, for some of you, my fleet will be familiar.
If you are the modeler who thinks outside the box or a newbie to the hobby, I invite you to view my BLOG. I am uploading a link to my BLOG in this forum to ensure those who build scale ( replicas ) understand they are viewing only freelance designs.
My first large scale RC model boat was a replica...HMCS Beacon Hill...however it did not satisfy my creative mind, so an immediate switch to freelance models. When I first started designing and building RC model boats in my early 60s ( 9 years ago ) my mentor suggested that I only build for FUN...when it is no longer fun, it is time to return to harbour....LOL
Be sure to click on " older entries " to see archival images.
If you have any questions regarding my fleet feel free to leave a comment on the BLOG, if you are a newbie wishing to start designing your own I would be happy to offer advice...leave your email address and I will reply within a day or two.

ENJOY. I upload new photos and ideas once a week, less in winter time ( November thru March )

I think it's the same blog.

( Mayhem is a UK site so defaults to the UK netname servers )

Some of the info is the same but they are not identical. The .ca site has pictures the uk site doesn't and the .ca site seems to have later entries.

After nine year...I have ended my construction of freelance RC model boats...because any future photos would have been repeats of photos previously posted, I have decided to delete my BLOG

Thank you to all those from many different parts of the globe who took an interest in my designs.

Cheers and remember...

If it isn't fun, its time to return to harbour
