Wanting to get copies of plans for the ROMA.
Any scale as can enlarge up to 1/96. Also some places for books for reference.

I bought this book for a friend. It is very good but seems to have shot up in price. Not sure how good the Kindle version would be.

Adrian,

might be worth tying. I have a few sets of ANB plans that are quite good.

Somewhere there is a scrap of paper that has 99% good frame lines...
I will search for it and see  if it will scan...

That is an excellent book, Andy.

Ye gads, it has hot up in price. Not quite sure it is worth that money though.

It was much cheaper a couple of years ago.

I have a few of their books, and I do think they are quite good, if, in some respects, confusing.

I have not seen plans, but I suspect they will be good.

Glad you seem to have had quiet a bit of help.

Try here too.

Personally I think Ermingo Bagnascos Littorio class book is one of best reference books I own especially in English. The fold out sections of the 3D views, plans and particularly the 1/96 scale model in the book are stunning. Always wanted to build one but space has always been the main issue for a 1/96 scale version so I've had to make do with a 1/700 scale version instead.
Please please please if you do build one please do a build log of her, I think these ships are so beautiful to look at. ;)

Went two rounds with a box, and found lots of references for ships and models, but
none for the the Littorio class...   :(( . I don't think it would be with the rolled plans...
I will have a go at that box later.

Start at the keel! Seriously though, start by checking your frame widths match the length and width of the top view plan, check photos for indents and/or protrusions in the hull and remember to reduce the frames and top view plans to allow for plank thickness. I am sure there aare other things to consider as well !

Did you find what you needed?

Another possible book is,
Quote
Orizzonte Mare. Navi italiane 2 guerra mondiale 3/I. Corazzate Classe Vittorio Veneto. Parte Prima.Gay, Franco Published by Edizione Bizzarrei, Roma, 1973
.

These stern frames may have come from this book..

Also, Found these modeler frames.
