Hi All, I have just found your forum and see there's lots of juicy stuff and tips on it so am looking forward to joining in.


I have just retired and found I need something to occupy my brain and hands to stop me climbing the walls, so I started out with an LCVP 1/16 scratch build in plas card which is now fairly advanced. All the rc kit is installed and tested and I am now down to painting and finishing. I also scratch built a universal carrier 1/16 scale to go in it which is also progressing nicely.

I am currently at design stage on a scratch build of a 1/16 scale LCM6 in plywood so busy researching on that and doing drawings/card mock up to test design.


Anyway look forward to corresponding. Do you folks ever hold get-togethers/exhibitions/fun days?
