Colwyn bay Model Boat Club - John Palmer. R.I.P.
« on: October 31, 2014, 01:57:45 pm »

The Club is sad to inform you that our much respected Club Commodore, John Palmer has died today.

86 year old John was a founding member of our Club and was very active until just a few months ago.

The younger members will miss having him at the lakeside providing sage advice and we will all miss his expertise and companionship.

I know there are a small number of people local to us who are not members of our club and would wish to attend John's funeral and so I take the liberty of putting his funeral arrangements here.

10.15am on Tuesday 11th November, 2014 at Colwyn Bay Crematorium  (  http://conwy.gov.uk/section.asp?cat=7973&Language=1 )

Members of our Club, John's friends and family wish me to thank everyone who has sent condolences directly, or through this Forum.
