Spotted these guys in "The Works" (I think it's a chain store: it sells books, games and arty stuff.)

They're posable mannekins, 125mm tall, and therefore suitable for 1/12th - 1/14th scale. They could easily be dressed and - with a splash of Milliput - become the ideal crew for a variety of boats.

Here's six pounds' worth:
