I go every year but not sure why it's got awful they have made the isles so wide it looks empty and the stands display the same old stuff.

:-)) Went there today, yes it is much the same every year so know you what you get ,it not too far from me (about 1 hour by tube ) so no hardship and so handy hunting through the stalls for that engineering bit you cant find anywhere else, spent quite a bit on tools and steam bits and had a nice chat with Steam boat Phil from Blackhearth club so had very nice day, still look at it this way not long before the weather will improve and we can get back on the water, happy modelling and sailing guys,Ray. :-)) :-)) :-)) :-)) :-))

I haven't attended for a couple of years. As others have said, not much new to see, and I noticed this year several traders didn't seem to be booked in.

My Dad went and was disappointed with the show.

I went today, and met up with Tony H.  Nice to meet you Tony  :-))

There were some boats but it was mostly steam, lathes and trains, as the exhibition name implies.
Finding somewhere to park was a major issue as a big snooker tournament on there the same day.

Went on Saturday and, after the shock of finding Steamboat Phil without his cap!!, enjoyed the visit.
The content is a bit predictable but the percentage of model boats and their variety was, I thought, very reasonable. I always admire the engineering that goes into making the locos.
Our 12 year old grandson (not surprisingly!) enjoyed the robot wars.
